Stephanie Michelle Konvalin has been notified that she has been awarded an appointment to her choice of either West Point Academy or to the Air Force Academy. She indicated this has been a life long dream and she plans to make her decision in May after visiting both academies. Konvalin, joins her older brother Ivan, a 2006 Waynesville High School graduate who also earned an Air Force Academy appointment. She is a senior at WHS and will graduate in May.
