The WHS Science Olympiad Team participated in the Region 5 Science Olympiad competition Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008 at MS&T, in Rolla. The WHS team was in a state of rebuilding this year. The team’s performance at the competition surpassed expectations. Though the team did not qualify for state competition, WHS had several participants that placed in their event. Of the 12 students on the team 9 students received awards.
