A combined 35th Engineer Battalion team completed a clean sweep of singles matches against the Medical Department Activity in the Commander’s Cup Tennis Tournament finals, held July 23 at the Sturgis Heights Tennis Courts.

“I was excited that I was able to come out tonight. It was kind of questionable whether I would get to for a while, but I made it, and I’m glad I did,” said Jeremy Jackson, a member of the 554th Engineer Battalion who played for the 35th Engineers in the No. 1 singles position against MEDDAC’s Michael Nguyen.
