The Ya Ya’s had already built a five-run lead in the bottom of the fourth inning, but with one out and bases loaded, Angela Baker hit a high fly ball over heads of the B&B outfield. Hurtling around the bases, Baker beat the throw to home to earn a grand-slam in-the-park home run. The play gave the Ya Ya’s a 15-6 lead — one away from a 10-run-rule victory that would happen the next inning for the 2014 Women’s League Tournament championship trophy Monday night at Softball Complex B.
