Registration is under way for the 2010 Run for the Fallen 5k, scheduled at 9 a.m., Aug. 28, at Gammon field.

Sponsored by the Military Police Regimental Association, the 5k walk/run event is open to the public. Registration is free.

The first 100 to register receive a free T-shirt. T-shirts are $10 in advance, and also will be sold on race day. Military units taking part may pre-order T-shirts for $8. Pre-order deadline is Aug. 20.
