The Waynesville High School boys’ tennis team earned a home victory Monday, defeating Willow Springs 7-2.

In singles matches, Tigers players Devonte Baity, Tyler Warren, Hunter Sadler and Carl Herrmann took home victories.

Waynesville’s teams of Bryce Sadler and Lucas Cressler, Devonte Baity and Tyler Warren and Hunter Sadler and Carl Herrmann swept the doubles matches with Willow Springs.  

 

The victory followed Waynesville’s loss to Osage April 26. In that contest, Herrmann picked up the lone singles victory for WHS, while Herrmann and Casey Carter and the team of Warren and Sadler earned doubles victories.

Up next: The Tigers are scheduled to play the Ozark Conference Tournament on Thursday. Districts start Monday.
