Special to GUIDON
Fans of “The Walking Dead” and other zombie-themed TV shows and movies will soon have a chance to dress up, don makeup and shamble around downtown Lebanon. Organizers of Lebanon’s third annual Zombie Walk announced this week that the 2012 event is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. June 9 starting at the Northside Machine Works on Commercial Street. ![]() Participants dressed as zombies stagger through Lebanon during the 2011 Zombie Walk. This year’s event is set for June 9. The Zombie Walk will be followed by a Zombie Prom, where participants can dance the night away in costume and enjoy food, games, door prizes and other events at the Lebanon Elks Lodge, located on Pecos Drive. Admission to the Zombie Prom is $5. Both events are hosted by Ozark Visions Costume Shoppe of Lebanon and benefit Cope House, a not-for-profit domestic violence shelter.
