Missouri Department of Conservation
As part of its 75th anniversary, the Missouri Department of Conservation recently hosted a public photo contest. Now MDC needs the public to help it decide which photo best depicts the natural beauty of the Show-Me State. The contest encouraged people to submit their best images that celebrate the natural wonders of Missouri and the 75-year legacy of MDC. More than 1,880 people submitted almost 13,000 photos in seven categories. ![]() A photographer participates in the recent photo contest run by the Missouri Department of Conservation. Voting will occur during the month of July, starting Sunday and continuing through July 31. To cast a vote, go to the MDC website at mdc.mo.gov/node/16689. The seven category winners and top photo will be featured in the October issue of the Missouri Conservationist magazine, as well as on the MDC website and other media. |
