The Medical Department Activity and 2nd Battalion, 10th Infantry Regiment emerged as the winners of Conferences A and B, respectively, in the 2012 intramural golf season.

MEDDAC locked in its Conference A win last week, when it finished its season at 7-1.

Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 14th Military Police Brigade, took the runner-up position at 6-2 after its win over the U.S. Marine Corps Detachment, July 26.

Garrison Command finished third at 5-3.

The 2-10th Inf. Bn. team defeated the Dental Activity to end its season at 6-2 and finish first in Conference B.

The Navy Detachment, also finished the season at 6-2 but had lost to 2-10th Inf. Bn. earlier in the season. They defeated the 787th Military Police Battalion for their final regular season win.

Teams that completed the regular season were qualified to play in the Commander’s cup Golf Tournament, which began Wednesday at Piney Valley
Golf Course.
