Intramural softball action continued with competition in Conferences A, B and C at the post’s Softball Complex B. In Conference A games played July 23: — Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 14th Military Police Battalion defeated the 92nd Military Police Battalion, 8-3; — 58th Transportation Battalion defeated the 50th Engineer Company, 13-3; — The Medical Department Activity beat the HHC, 1st Engineer Brigade, 16-3; — The Directorate of Public Works beat TSAY/Ferguson-Williams, 14-4; — The 58th Transportation Battalion defeated the U.S. Marine Corps Detachment, 24-8; — Garrison Command defeated the Headquarters Marines, 15-3; — HHC, 1st Engr. Bde defeated the Marine Det., 10-9; — TFW beat HHC, 14th MP Bde., 15-7; — The 50th Engineer Company picked up a forfeit win. Garrison Command (5-0), the Directorate of Public Works (6-0) and 58th Trans. Bn. (6-1) are in the lead of the Conference A standings. In Conference B games played July 24 at Complex B: — The Engineer Captain’s Career Course defeated the Engineer Equipment Construction Company, 8-5; — The 795th Military Police Battalion defeated the 55th Mobile Augmentation Company, 14-13; — The 35th Engineer Battalion defeated the 515th Engineer Company, 10-7; — The Military Police Instruction Company defeated the 554th Engineer Battalion, 14-5; — 3rd Battalion, 10th Infantry Regiment beat the 31st Engineer Battalion, 17-14; — The MPIC defeated the ECCC, 27-2. The EEIC maintains its lead in Conf. C with a 4-1 record, followed by the 515th Engr. Co., 3-10th Inf. Bn. and the 35th Engr. Bn., all at 3-1. In Conference C games played on July 25: — Fort Leonard Wood’s U.S. Navy Detachment defeated the 364th Training Squadron, Air Force Detachment 1, 10-0; — The Army and Air Force Exchange Service beat the 763rd Ordnance Company, 11-9; — The Dental Activity defeated Balfour Beatty, 10-4; — The Engineer K9 Company defeated the 80th Training Center, 11-7; — Company B, 554th Engineer Battalion beat the 399th Army Band, 18-12; — Staff Judge Advocate defeated the Engineer K9 Co., 11-1; — The 763rd EOD beat the 80th TC, 18-7; — The Air Force Det. defeated Balfour Beatty, 27-17; — SJA picked up a forfeit victory. ![]() Company B, 554th Engr. Bn. remains the only undefeated team in Conference C, leading the standings with a 5-0 record. They were followed by SJA (5-1), and the Engineer K9 Co. (5-2). |
