The annual Grape Jam Bluegrass and Craft Festival is scheduled Aug. 17-18 in downtown St. James.

The event features jam sessions, a fiddle contest, craft vendors, concerts by the Clay Hess Band and the Rosa Stringworks Jam Band and more  along East Washington Street.

The festival starts at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 17. Events on Aug. 18 begin at noon.

Admission is free. Attendees may bring their own lawnchairs.

St. James is located about 30 miles east of Fort Leonard Wood on Interstate 44.
