The holiday season  includes many traditions, like shopping, lights, food and Family gatherings. But for most, the celebration wouldn’t be complete without hearing their favorite holiday music.

The 399th Army Band will perform its “Holiday Classics” concert series at 7 p.m. Friday at the Cowan Civic Center in Lebanon, and  at 7 p.m. Dec. 18 at Abrams  Theater on post.

“It’s all holiday music — we’re going for a traditional holiday concert,” said Sgt. 1st Class Mathew Frederick, leader of the band’s brass quintet, known as “Standard Brass.”

In addition to the quintet, the 399th’s concert band and jazz combo are scheduled to perform. Both concerts are free and open to the public.

“Even Santa will be there,” Frederick said.
