Curtain rises tonight for ‘Seussical’ in Rolla Print E-mail

The curtain opens at 7 p.m. tonight on the Fine Linen Theatre company production of “Seussical the Musical!” at the Cedar Street Playhouse, 701 North Cedar St. in Rolla.

Based on the works of children’s author Dr. Seuss, the musical takes audiences on a musical journey that includes characters from “The Cat in the Hat,” “Horton Hears a Who,” “Oh, the Places You’ll Go” and many more.

The all-volunteer production includes 62 actors from Rolla and its surrounding communities, plus a 14-piece live orchestra.

Performances continue through April 22, and are scheduled at 7 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Matinee performances are scheduled at 1 p.m. on April 15 and 22.
