The Waynesville High School Theatre Department and local Thespian Troupe 1669 will perform William Shakespeare’s “Love’s Labour’s Lost” at 7 p.m. April 20, 21 and 22 and at 2:30 p.m. April 23 at the WHS Fine Arts Auditorium.

First published in 1598, the play tells the story of a king and his companions who attempt to forswear the company of women to pursue a life of study and fasting — with varying degrees of success once they meet the beautiful princess of France.

Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for students and faculty and $3 for children.
