The Armed Services YMCA is offering several summer preschool programs for military Families.

According to Christine Kolbow, preschool teacher, the program’s goal is to help parents prepare their 3 and 4-year-olds  for kindergarten.

Parents are required to stay in the waiting room while children attend, but Kolbow said this provides an opportunity for parents to socialize. There is also a playroom available for younger children to stay entertained.
