Registration is now  underway for Fort Leonard Wood’s Vacation Bible School hosted by the Religious Support Office.

This year’s VBS is scheduled from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. July 24 through 28 at the Main Post Chapel. According to Cindy Dack, director of religious education, this year the installation will host one evening VBS, rather than separate Catholic and Protestant events.

This year’s theme is “Maker Fun Factory,” and there will be classes for all ages — both children and adults. A nursery will be provided for those younger than age 3.

The evening will begin with dinner and then participants will learn more about the Bible through experiments, games, music and “adventures,” Dack said.

“We hope to provide a week’s worth of learning and growing,” Dack said. “By sharing in a time of fellowship and learning together, we become a stronger and more cohesive community.”

Dack said volunteers are welcome. Those interested in volunteering can visit Dack at the Main Post Chapel to complete a background check.

To register, or for more information, contact Dack at 573.596.0131, ext. 60089 or visit vbspro.events/p/vbs2017ftleonardwood online.
