Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. tonight, Friday and Saturday, and matinee performances at 2 p.m. Friday and Sunday.

Billed as “an intimate musical covering 50 years of marriage,” the play follows the characters of Michael and Agnes starting on their wedding day, and continues through their lives together as they raise a Family, enduring numerous struggles and ultimately rediscover how much they need each other.

Written by Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones, the original Broadway production opened in 1966 and went on to receive seven Tony Award nominations.

The OAT production, which is directed by John Contini, stars real-life married couple Larissa Klinger and Dan Fenaughty taking on the roles of Agnes and Michael. Klinger and Fenaughty are returning to the Rolla stage after their performances in OAT’s 2016 production of “Damn Yankees.”
