Fort Leonard Wood flag-football teams have kicked off intramural competition for the 2018 fiscal year, completing the first two weeks of the season with games played on Field 1 and at Gerlach Field.

In games played Sept. 6:

— The 58th Transportation Battalion earned its first win of the season with an 8-6 victory over Company A, 84th Chemical Battalion;

— The 14th Military Police Brigade beat Staff Judge Advocate, 19-0;

— The Noncommissioned Officer Academy defeated the U.S. Marine Corps Detachment, 18-8;

— The 14th MP Bde. beat the 554th Engineer Battalion, 42-8;

— The Medical Department Activity defeated the Navy Detachment, 22-10;

— The 252nd Military Police Company picked up a forfeit win.

In games played Aug. 30:

— The 14th MP Bde. beat the 2nd Battalion, 48th Infantry Regiment, 6-0;

— Co. A, 84th Chem. Bn. beat the Navy Det., 30-20;

— The 554th Engr. Bn. defeated SJA, 31-25;

— NCOA and the Marine Det. both picked up forfeit wins.

With 11 weeks remaining in the season, the 14th MP Bde., at 3-0, and NCOA, at 2-0, currently lead the standings.
