Beginning at 12:30 p.m., Oct. 25, Bruce C. Clarke Library’s Halloween Story Walk will feature a new book titled “Boo Who?” by Ben Clanton. This is a Family event where patrons of all ages may take a trip around the quad outside the library and read this Halloween book.

Families will be able to read the story on their own as well as with our children’s librarian. Other activities will include music, dancing, and trick-or-treating in the library.

Everyone is encouraged to dress up  i costume for this event, which takes the place of the Wednesday StoryTime.  The outdoor story boards will be available until 2 p.m.

Bruce C. Clarke Library will also be hosting an evening of Campfire Stories from 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 30.

Join us for a night of multi-media story telling around a campfire with activities. Feel free to prepare a story you would like to share or just come in and listen. Snacks will be provided.

Although our intended audience is 13 years and older, younger children may participate with an adult. All stories will be age appropriate. Participants are encouraged to wear their Family-friendly costumes. The evening will end with a costume contest. Prizes will be awarded to the top three costumes chosen by staff members.

For more information on any of these programs, contact the circulation desk at 573.563.4113
