Waynesville High School Theatre Department students are currently rehearsing the comedy “Don’t Tell Mother” by Monk Ferris.

The play tells the story of a timid librarian named Cinnamon Schmidt and her mother, who plan to entertain Cinnamon’s fiance, Hobart, and his mother at a serene Family dinner. However, Cinnamon comes home in shock after witnessing a bank robbery and discovers she is the only one who can identify the crook.

Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. Oct. 19, 20 and 21, with a matinee performance scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Oct. 22. All performances will take place in the WHS Auditorium.

Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for students and $3 for senior citizens and children ages 5 and younger. Senior citizens who have a Waynesville R-VI Senior Citizens Athletic Pass will be admitted free.
