Cultural Resource Coordinator Stephanie Nutt shows Maj. Gen. Donna Martin, Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and Fort Leonard Wood commanding general, the historical mural painted by Samuel Countee. The mural has been restored, protected and on display at Building 2101, formerly the World War II Black Officers’ Club. The mural was located in the John B. Mahaffey Museum Complex while renovations to Building 2101 were completed. It is now resting in its original home encased in glass. Photo by Sam Campbell.
