Precautions safeguarding against the novel coronavirus, have resulted in numerous closures, cancellations, postponements and some changes to schedules for Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation venues. The following is a list of the latest schedule changes as of press time.
— The Davidson Fitness Center basketball courts, racquetball courts and saunas.
— Morelli Heights.
— The John B. Mahaffey Museum Complex is closed to the public but remains open for training purposes.
— All fitness classes until further notice.
— All remaining Bright Start Play morning sessions in March.
— Story Time at Bruce C. Clarke Library.
— The March 30 Exceptional Family Member Program Ice Cream Social at ACS.
— The April 4 Fun Fair at the Child Development Centers 615 and 616.
— The Youth Sports spring season is currently postponed until May 1.
— All Child, Youth and School Services classes, including SKIES program glasses.
— All bowling leagues.
— The 2020 Commander’s Cup Basketball Tournament.
— All Recreation League basketball games.
— The March Steam Lab at the library.
— The March Prime for Life event at ACS.
— The Texas Hold’em tournament originally scheduled for Friday.
— The opening date for the Rec Plex.
Venues currently operating with open normal business hours include:
— Piney Valley Golf Course.
— Fort Leonard Wood Thrift Shop.
— Bruce C. Clarke Library.
— Outdoor Adventure Center.
— Pippin Youth Center
— Pershing Community Center. Note: No catered events are being offered.
— Lake of the Ozarks Recreation Area.
— Davidson Fitness Center and Specker Gym are open from 5 to 10 a.m., 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3 to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
— Daugherty Bowling Center is operating with every other lane. No league play.
— The Auto Skills Center.
— Leisure Travel Services office is open but has temporarily stopped ticket sales to closed local, regional and national attractions. Those with questions should call 573.329.8587.
— The Army and Air Force Services Main Exchange, and North and South Express.
— Military clothing sales.
— AAFES restaurants and the food court are open with take-out only.
— The Commissary is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.
