Fort Leonard Wood’s 2019 intramural bowling season continued as military-unit teams gathered for the third week of the season Feb. 11 at Daugherty Bowling Center.
The 554th Engineer Battalion extended its lead in the total pin count, ending the night with 7,010 pins knocked down since the beginning of the season.
In intramural bowling, each four-person team bowls three games, with every pin counting toward an ongoing points race that will continue for the next seven weeks.
Currently in second place is the 14th Military Police Brigade with 6,676 points, while the 3rd Chemical Brigade sits in third place with 6,119 points.
Following those teams are the 43rd Adjutant General Battalion in fourth place (6,113), the 58th Transportation Battalion in fifth place (6,021), the 31st Engineer Battalion in sixth place (5,290), the Medical Department Activity in seventh place (4,641); the 2nd Battalion, 48th Infantry Regiment, in eighth place (4,484), the 252nd Military Police Detachment in ninth place (4,101), Combat Training Company in 10th place (4,082) and the Military Police Basic Officer Leader Course in 11th place with 1,742 points.
