The 31st Engineer Battalion Spartans led the Week 9 point totals of Fort Leonard Wood’s intramural bowling season, as teams gathered April 4 at Daugherty Bowling Center.
The Spartans’ Dakota Close, Raymond Henry, Christopher Lobato and Erik Vedder knocked down 2,192 pins in three games.
The 554th Engineer Battalion was second for the week with 2,171 pins, while the 43rd Adjutant General Battalion was third with 2,128 pins.
The 554th Engineer Battalion still leads the overall points race with 20,615 pins knocked down since the beginning of the season. They are followed in the standings by the 14th Military Police Brigade (19,310), the 43rd AG Bn. (18,414), the 58th Transportation Battalion (18,046), the 3rd Chemical Brigade (17,705), the 31st Engr. Bn. (17,048), the Medical Department Activity (14,454); the 2nd Battalion, 48th Infantry Regiment (13,995), the 252nd Military Police Detachment (12,098), the Military Police Basic Officer Leader Course (9,064) and Combat Training Company (6,951).
