Girls and boys ages 9 to 14 are invited to participate in the local level of competition for the Knights of Columbus Basketball Free-Throw Challenge.
The local competition is free, and will be held at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 5 at the Saint Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church fellowship hall gymn, located at 367 Old Route 66 in Saint Robert, MO. 65584.
Registration will be held the day of the event from 1 to 1:30 p.m.
The competition is designed for the most basic basketball skill the free-throw.
Winners can advance to district, regional and state competitions. International champions are announced by the Knights of Columbus headquarters based on scores from the state-level competitions.
All boys and girls will compete in their respective age and gender divisions. Your age as of Jan. 1, 2019 will determine the age category in which you will compete.
Participants are required to furnish proof of age and written parental consent. Entry forms may be picked-up starting Dec. 28 at the Waynesville Municipal Center Youth Sports Office, the St. Robert Municipal Center and Tiger Typhoon Aquatic Center or at Saint Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church Fellowship Hall Gymnasium.
