You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen. Now, the First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site in St. Charles, Missouri, is giving visitors the opportunity to meet some of their antlered brethren up close from 3 to 5 p.m., Dec. 15 and 16.
As part of the program, a “reindeer flight instructor” has brought some of his special friends direct from the North Pole as a special surprise. Visitors can join him in the backyard of the First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site as he tells funny stories about his reindeer pals. Visitors can also take the opportunity to meet and take photos with these beautiful animals.
The historic site will also host a Christmas concert by the Buckhannon Brothers at 8 p.m. Dec. 15, featuring well-known Christmas songs and stories behind the festive melodies. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the concert are $10 per person.
