September is the month when gardeners often say nuisance animals do the most damage. These animals surface after the heat of August and search for food before the winter.
The Missouri University Extension in Pulaski County, with local Missouri Master Gardeners, will present a one-day course “Moles, Voles and Armadillos,” at 6 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Pulaski County Courthouse in downtown Waynesville.
Instructor Anne Premont will cover the habitat and food that attracts nuisance animals, as well as trapping and removal techniques
The course fee is $10, which can be paid at the Pulaski County Extension office or at the door. Reservations can be made at the office, by calling 573.774.6177 or by email at PulaskiCo@missouri.edu. For more information about the course, visit extension.missouri.edu/Pulaski.
