1st Lt. Dave Truong, a Geospatial Development officer assigned to U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command Capability Manager-Geospatial, voluntarily planned and executed an innovative training session for 32 engineer Captains Career Course students who are getting their master’s degrees in geology and geological engineering at Missouri University of Science & Technology.
The 3-hour session included guest speakers who discussed topics such as how to locate, collect and leverage geospatial data within various Army, Department of Defense and government repositories. Truong’s efforts are admirable, and he received outstanding feedback from all involved.
