Sgt. 1st Class Doxton Johnson, Combat Engineer Skills Division instructor, established a study hall, assisting drill sergeants after the duty day to conduct retraining for trainees requiring additional support.
For example, during demolitions combination system instruction, several trainees from one company failed the initial test.
Johnson reported to the company at the end of the duty day and performed retraining with all students until well after 8 p.m., resulting in a 100 percent pass rate for each and every trainee he helped retrain.
Johnson’s dedication to duty and passion for training is one example of the “Put ‘em across” mindset to get Soldiers across the finish line to graduate.
Dan Goff, Maneuver Support Center of Excellence G-3 deputy and technical director, has been a major mover for several efforts that support U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command and Army priorities.
He developed the institutional training update to support common access card requirements; coordinated, tracked and determined impacts for the TRADOC campaign plan; tracked and coordinated all Defender 2020 requirements and impacts; and led development and implementation of the new Emerging Leader Development Program for junior- and mid-level civilians.
Goff’s talents and efforts have greatly assisted MSCoE senior leadership by coordinating across the staff for effective outcomes.
