Staff Sgt. David Tracy is the G-3 Current Operations Division’s ammunition account manager for the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence. Since his arrival, he has coordinated the Range Burn plan with the Directorate of Emergency Services, providing the Combat Training Company commander the ability to plan around needed fire-mitigation operations on the post’s range complex.
In a quick-turn event, Tracy oversaw the return of unauthorized munitions originally provided to replace capsules in a chemical chamber. Determining this to be an unauthorized use of these munitions, he coordinated the return of the replacement munitions with the proper Department of Defense Identification Code munitions, preventing potential disruption of training and injury to trainees. Tracy is a great example of integrity and personal courage.
