Fort Leonard Wood softball teams completed another week of the 2018 season with Recreation League games played July 16 and intramural games played July 17 and 18.
In Recreation League games:
— Not Forgotten defeated Combat Training Company, 16-5;
— The 50th Engineer Company beat the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear School, 23-3;
— The Sappers beat Child and Youth Services, 6-4.
With two weeks remaining, Not Forgotten leads the Rec League standings with a record of 5-0, followed by the Sappers at 4-1, Black Horse and CTC, both at 3-1, the 50th Engr. Co. at 2-3, the Tank Automotive and Armaments Command at 1-4, CYS at 0-5 and CBRN at 0-4.
In intramural games played July 17:
— The Medical Department Activity defeated CTC, 19-9;
— The 58th Transportation Battalion beat the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence, 11-10;
— Company B, 554th Engineer Battalion, defeated the 31st Engineer Battalion, 17-2;
— The Co. A, 554th Engr. Bn.; the 94th Engineer Battalion and the 2nd Battalion, 10th Infantry Regiment, all picked up forfeit wins.
In intramural games played July 18:
— MSCoE beat the 14th MP Bde., 19-4;
— Co. A, 554th Engr. Bn., defeated MEDDAC, 7-4;
— The 252nd/180th Military Police Detachment, the 58th Transportation Battalion, the 94th Engr. Bn., and CTC all picked up forfeit victories.
With a little more than three weeks remaining in the season, the 94th Engr. Bn., at 9-0, and the U.S. Marine Corps Detachment, at 5-0, currently lead the intramural standings. They are followed by Co. A, 554th Engr. Bn., at 7-1, MEDDAC at 5-3, the 14th MP Bde., the 252nd/180th MP Det. and the 2-10th Inf. Bn., all at 4-3, MSCoE at 5-4, CTC at 4-4, the 58th Trans. Bn. at 3-5, CBRN at 2-4, the 31st Engr. Bn. at 2-5, the Co. B, 554th Engr. Bn. at 2-6, the 1st Battalion, 48th Infantry Regiment at 1-8 and the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate at 0-8.
