The Waynesville R-VI School District received a $1,250 grant from the Missouri Educators’ Trust and the MET Wellness Committee to help further support staff wellness initiatives.
“Wellness programs provide members opportunities for ownership and impact the ever-challenging cost of health care,” wrote Dr. Jeff Mingus, Forsyth R-III superintendent and the MET wellness committee chairman. “Our membership is committed to continually improving the strength of MET and member wellness activities are one of the most impactful actions we can take.”
The grant’s initiatives will be announced to staff during the 2019 school year.
