The Waynesville R-VI School District has again received the Total Fleet Excellence Stickers for its school buses, following an inspection by the Missouri Highway Patrol.
To qualify the district must have a 90 percent or higher approval rate with no out-of-service buses.
The Waynesville R-VI School District scored a 97.1 percent.
“We take the safety of our students very seriously and these results prove that,” said Karl Wilking, director of transportation. “We had two very minor issues and we corrected them on the spot. I am proud of our team — we were one of just five schools in Troop I to receive the stickers.”
Waynesville R-VI Transportation has met the Fleet of Excellence Standard for 18 consecutive years. The district transports approximately 4,000 students annually.
